Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Associate to join our team at H & L Dumpling House. This is a part-time position with varying hours, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service. They will also be required to stock shelves, clean the counter area, and participate in promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greet customers, and respond to their queries
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Participate in promotional activities to drive sales and engage with customers
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and possess reliability and dependability. Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset but not required.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with varied hours, typically between 15 to 30 hours per week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks under pressure.

Benefits

H & L Dumpling House offers a competitive salary, pension plan, and a dynamic work environment. The estimated annual salary for this position is $25,000 to $35,000 CAD, based on the location and industry standards.
