Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Bartender to lead our Bartending Team in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Bartending Team in maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.
  • Develop and implement mixology strategies to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Assist guests with beverage menu items and provide expert recommendations.
  • Mix drinks and participate in inventory control measures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to create new drinks and sales strategies.
  • Ensure service standards are met and maintained at all times.
  • Train and develop new colleagues and ongoing training for all team members.
  • Manage billing and petty cash according to procedures.
  • Report maintenance needs and ensure the workplace is clean and safe.
  • Represent the brand and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform appearances on TV and social media when required.
  • Follow outlet policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Head Bartender in a cocktail lounge or bar.
  • Experience crafting custom cocktail lists.
  • Excellent knowledge of alcohol mixology and liquor.
  • Previous point of sale system experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of mixology techniques and classic cocktails.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Smart Serve Certification required.
  • Passing grade on mixology recruiting exam.
  • Active participation in local and international mixology contests an asset.

Work Environment:

No remote work. Full-time employment.
