Job Description:

VicSquare Arcade is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Administrator to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 30-40 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Determine the value of fixed assets and accurately calculate depreciation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Manage general ledgers and generate financial statements, providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial record-keeping.
  • Prepare detailed statistical, financial, and accounting reports, helping inform business decisions.
  • Prepare tax returns, guaranteeing compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
Requirements:
  • A degree from College or CEGEP, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Working Conditions:
  • This is a remote work opportunity, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work 30-40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime as needed.
  • The language of work is English.
