Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our dynamic team at Humber River Health. As a Registered Practical Nurse on our Surgical Inpatient Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and document patient information accurately
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing program
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Experience with patient health teaching and a variety of skills, including intramuscular injections and intravenous therapy
  • Knowledge of community resources and excellent attendance and discipline-free record
