Mechanical Construction Supervisor Job Opportunity

Nesworks is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Construction Supervisor to join our team at our Canadian site north of Timmins Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing project contractors, monitoring performance, and ensuring operational standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project contractors and monitor their performance to ensure timely completion and quality of work.
  • Contribute to strategic plans and constructability reviews to meet operational standards.
  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards to meet project budgets and timelines.
  • Accomplish construction project results by contributing to project scope definition, estimating, and enforcing standards and protocols.
  • Prevent orders and interruptions by complying with and enforcing various regulations and codes.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical engineering technology or considerable experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in managing the execution of small to medium-size projects.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques, estimation, cost monitoring, analyzing, and reporting is an asset.
  • A Millwright trades background will be considered an asset.
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to establish priorities and work under pressure.
  • Solid report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical skills and good work ethic.
  • Sound interpersonal and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of employees.
