Job Summary

The Truck and Coach Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our trucks and trailers. This position will report directly to the Regional Operations Manager/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers
  • Order parts and manage inventory
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues
  • Assist technicians and perform other shop-related tasks
Work Schedule

The Mechanic will work a 4 on 4 off schedule during the winter months and a 4-10 rotating schedule during the summer months. On-call may be required to support operations and business needs.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in truck and coach maintenance and repair
  • Certificate of Qualification (310S and 310T)
  • Red Seal Qualification is highly preferred
  • Experience with Cummins, Paccar engines and Kenworth trucks
  • Ability to diagnose and repair engines, electrical systems, and brake components
  • Excellent organizational and technical communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive movements
  • Exceptional work ethic and positive attitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be safety-minded and a self-starter
