About the Role:


The Industrial Sales Consultant will be responsible for providing field technical sales support to customers in the Northeastern AB region. This includes generating and closing sales opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.



Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Provide top-quality field technical sales support to customers for pump products and systems
  • Prospect and generate sales opportunities and leads
  • Establish and maintain professional business relations with new and existing customers
  • Service existing customers and grow new territory
  • Visit customers to review products and applications, evaluate and recommend custom solutions
  • Manage CRM effectively
  • Participate in joint calls with management, suppliers, and other division representatives
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical field
  • Minimum 2-3 years' outside sales experience in industrial pump products (preferred)
  • 3-4 years' experience with industrial system review and calculations
  • A hunter mindset with strong technical aptitude and general understanding of industrial processes
  • Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong presentation skills and experience preparing professional PowerPoint decks
  • Valid Driver's License

Work Environment:


This is a fast-paced environment in a dynamic competitive industry. You will be exposed to deadlines, multiple demands and priorities, multi-tasking, and interruptions. Day travel to customer and supplier sites is required, with occasional overnight travel.



Estimate Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
