Business Analyst - Institutional Equity Research

Join the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce's Capital Markets team as a Business Analyst - Institutional Equity Research. In this role, you will work closely with the Research Analyst covering the Industrials sector, analyzing industry and company trends, and building financial models to support investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of companies and industries, identifying key drivers of growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate with the Research Analyst to provide investment recommendations to clients.
  • Participate in regular calls with public companies to gather information and insights.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with financial analysis and modeling.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients.
