The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented General Office Clerk II to join our team at the Fetal Assessment Treatment Centre. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clinical staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling ultrasounds and consultations
  • Coordination of appointments
  • Registration of patient visits
  • Retrieval, labeling, and filing of patient records
  • Responding to telephone inquiries
  • Order entry of lab specimens
  • Other administrative duties as required
Requirements
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a recognized Secretarial or Office Administration Diploma Program preferred
  • Demonstrated accurate keyboarding and data entry skills required
  • Previous experience with Meditech and Community Wide Scheduling (CWS) preferred
  • Demonstrated strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, while meeting strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated excellent organization skills, strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrated initiative; self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision/direction required
  • Demonstrated high regard for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail required
  • Demonstrated flexibility to meet workload demands required
  • Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive information required
  • Demonstrated experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machine, photocopier) preferred
  • Competency in other languages considered an asset
