Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Black Tar Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various HR-related tasks, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Assist with employee onboarding, including preparing new hire packages and conducting orientation sessions
  • Administer benefits, including health and dental insurance, and retirement plans
  • Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, progress tracking, and performance evaluations
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and responding to employee inquiries
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in HR or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in HR or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Occasional travel to company sites may be required
