Job Title: Commercial Risk Management Manager

CWB is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Risk Management Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for managing risks and providing credit underwriting support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize returns.
  • Provide credit underwriting support for new and existing clients, ensuring that all lending decisions are made in accordance with CWB's credit policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement creative solutions for clients, while ensuring that all solutions are aligned with CWB's risk appetite.
  • Monitor and manage client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all client needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that CWB remains competitive and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or accounting.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in risk management, credit underwriting, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in managing risks and providing credit underwriting support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
