CWB is a bank built for business owners, and we're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Risk Management Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for managing risks and providing credit underwriting support for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize operational losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with sales teams to provide credit underwriting support for new and existing borrowing clients.
- Manage risks and day-to-day client relationships for Mid Market commercial clients.
- Proactively manage risk with prudent lending recommendations, including appropriate and consistent monitoring and due diligence.
- Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience).
- Approximately 6 years of experience within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.
- Leadership and coaching experience.
