Job Title: Commercial Risk Management Manager

CWB is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Risk Management Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for managing risks and providing credit underwriting support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize returns.
  • Provide credit underwriting support for new and existing clients, ensuring that all lending decisions are made in accordance with CWB's credit policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement creative and ambitious client solutions that meet their needs and maximize internal partnerships and specialists.
  • Manage risks and day-to-day client relationships for Mid Market commercial clients, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Proactively manage risk with prudent lending recommendations, including appropriate and consistent monitoring and due diligence, minimizing operational losses.
  • Exercises good judgment and decisive actions when meeting the needs of clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated and proven abilities (approx. 6 years experience) within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries with directly leadership and coaching experience.
