Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at SANGAM BANQUET & EVENT CENTRE LTD.

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience during their stay. This includes registering arriving guests, assigning rooms, resolving complaints, and processing group arrivals and departures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless transitions for our guests.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Provide customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
