Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at SANGAM BANQUET & EVENT CENTRE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Complaint Resolution: Resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, including room assignments and billing.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Guest Departures: Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and submit cash reports.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as required.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide assistance to guests.
  • Special Needs: Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional service to our guests.
