Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software.
- Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to complex technical issues.
- Training and Development: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Incident Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, and participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
- Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their jobs effectively.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate, relocation costs not covered by employer.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
