Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Toronto, Canada. The successful candidate will support and deliver various change initiatives related to data integration and investment performance platforms.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and participate in projects related to data platform enhancements, system integrations, and process improvements that benefit OMERS investment teams.
  2. Ensure project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines are clearly documented and communicated.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for projects impacting the OMERS investment data warehouse and performance measurement platform.
  4. Design and develop complex investment reporting using SQL, SSRS, OLAP, and Power BI.
  5. Define and execute business test plans, including performance and integration tests.
  6. Partner with technology teams to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and patches.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 6 years experience in business analysis roles supporting data warehouse platforms.
  2. Expert knowledge of business analysis strategies, SQL, relational databases, ETL/ELT tools, and design patterns.
  3. Knowledge of investment performance measurement and attribution methodologies for fixed income and equity strategies.
  4. Experience implementing and delivering change to leading investment applications.
  5. Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience.
