Job Title: Procurement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Coordinator to join our team at John Brooks Company. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily administrative functions for the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform buying for selected lines and resolve receiving discrepancies and supplier shipping errors
  • Coordinate vendor returns and provide backup and support for the procurement, freight, and traffic departments
  • Liaise with accounts payable on vendor POs and resolve any discrepancies on POs, receiving's, and invoicing
  • Assist with data management, including part number integrity, pricing, and accuracy
Requirements:
  • University/College degree in material management, business, or administration
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, administration, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain
  • Thorough knowledge of DRP software systems and data entry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and contracting techniques and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and the ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Excellent people management and negotiation skills, with a strong customer service focus
