Purchasing Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Paraffin Store Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise to our stores.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery terms
  • Coordinate the receipt and inspection of merchandise
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust procurement plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software
