About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transformational Marketing Leader to join our client's team in a key leadership position. This is a unique opportunity to drive strategic growth and elevate the sophistication of the marketing function.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for the organization, including situational analysis, goal-setting, targeting specific audiences, planning key messages, and evaluating marketing activities.
  • Lead strategic communication for the organization, including written and verbal statements, speeches, and presentations made by the CEO and other members of the executive team.
  • Work with the leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them.
  • Lead a project to assess processes and workflows, provide insights, and own solutioning to improve operational impact and performance.
  • Manage external vendor relationships to ensure optimal service levels.
  • Manage the client's reputation, including issues management and crisis communications protocols and processes.
Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in Communications or a related field of study.
  • A relevant professional designation is an asset.
  • ~15+ years of progressively more responsible experience, including demonstrated strategic leadership/management experience in a similar capacity.
  • Credibility as a strategic leader, with skills to formulate, implement, and manage the communications function.
  • Excellent change management skills and ability to drive results.
Benefits:
  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience.
  • A hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week onsite.
