Bear Creek Optical is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Optometrist Office Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

Job Summary

The Optometrist Office Coordinator will provide administrative support to our optometrists and other staff members, maintaining accurate records and managing schedules. This individual will also be responsible for ordering supplies, managing inventory, and arranging travel itineraries.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a college or CEGEP diploma and experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain confidential medical files and records
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and manage office procedures
  • Order supplies and manage inventory levels
  • Arrange travel itineraries and make reservations as needed
Requirements
  • Diploma in a related field (college or CEGEP)
  • Experience in an administrative role (asset)
  • Proficient in English
