About the Role

DNA Smith Carpentry is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpentry Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our carpentry team, you will assist in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and installation of building materials, including wood, steel, and other lightweight materials
  • Assist in the demolition of buildings and removal of rubble and debris
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including heavy loads
  • Operate various power tools and equipment, including reciprocating saws, circular saws, and drills
Requirements
  • Prior experience in carpentry or a related trade is an asset
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
