Job Summary

Aplin and Associates Inc is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining financial records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, maintain filing systems, and perform data entry.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and balance period-end reports, compile statistics and reports, and prepare T4 statements and other statements.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Skills: Human resources software, MS Excel, accounting software, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, accurate, excellent written communication, organized, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment

Public transportation is available. This is a temporary work term with 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
