Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jokers Theatre and Comedy Club. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our dining room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Oversee the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide training and guidance to our food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service and prepare high-quality food.

Manage Food and Supplies

Estimate and order food and supplies as needed to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and materials to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and safety in our food service operations, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Supervise Tray Assembly and Delivery

Oversee the assembly and delivery of food trays to ensure that they are presented in a clean and attractive manner.

Manage Work Environment

Ensure that our food service area is clean, safe, and well-organized, and that all staff are working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • Education

A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Physical Demands

Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, and dependability.
