Job Description

The Food Service Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of food service staff at our restaurant. This includes coordinating food preparation, managing inventory, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of food service staff
  • Manage inventory and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week

Work Setting: Restaurant

Supervision: 5-10 people

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, physically demanding
