About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Sunview Market Ltd. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient management of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Cut agricultural crops
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Harvest seedlings
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Oversee the activities of clearing the fields
  • Weeding
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
  • Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 to 40 hours of work per week
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Staff accommodation is available, and relocation costs are covered by the employer.
