Production Manager

InVision Staffing Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for overseeing all production operations and associated activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Review incoming purchase orders and plan production schedules to meet on-time delivery metrics.
- Conduct daily plant-level production huddles with team members to establish priorities, schedule tasks, and monitor progress.
- Develop and implement plans to reduce costs, improve cycle time, and increase efficiency.
- Integrate and commercialize new products, processes, and equipment into the plant.
- Ensure tooling is available for all incoming orders and add new equipment as necessary to increase capacity.
- Communicate available plant loading to ensure full utilization of available capacity.
- Support stock checks for incoming RFQs and ensure material is available when production starts.
- Generate and modify drawings and manufacturing control reports (MCRs) for quoted assemblies.
- Develop and implement capacity plans to respond to demand, including scheduling of hourly production technicians.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and CSA N299 procedures and support the improvement of the system and quality results.
- Education in Technologist or Technician in Electronics.
- Minimum 11 years of related experience.
- Experience in cable manufacturing is a must.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of production and safety management, occupational health and safety, and employment standards legislation.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100D, CSA N299.2/3/4 quality systems, and World Class manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge of IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and/or NASA-STD-8739.4.
- ESD awareness with respect to ANSI/ESD S20.20.
- Previous experience using AutoCAD is preferred.
