Production Manager

Nanowave Technologies Inc. is a high mix, low/medium volume manufacturer of high reliability RF components and subsystems used in broadband communications and sensing systems.

The company serves North America's and Europe's largest space, aerospace and defense electronics OEMs.

The Production Manager will meet the company's commitments to customers, including delivery schedule and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Materials planning and control (MRP, inventory control, line of balance, etc.)
  • Manufacturing control (Thin film, circuit card assembly, hybrid circuit assembly, CNC machining, high level integration, test, and shipping)
  • Support, train, mentor and coach supervisors, team leaders and shop floor personnel in best-in-class manufacturing practices
  • Implement best-in-class manufacturing management principles, processes and tools
  • Establish and implement tools to measure yield, manufacturing personnel and equipment efficiency
  • Constant assessment and improvement of the company's production management approach, manufacturing controls and processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university
  • 5 years direct space, aerospace or other high reliability electronic equipment production management experience
  • Hands-on management style
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Strong commitment to workplace diversity, professional ethics and fair treatment of both employees and customers
  • Hands-on experience in applying lean manufacturing techniques
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to lead, direct and coach and be a hands-on participant of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
