The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting our commitments to customers, including delivery schedules and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Materials planning and control, including inventory management and line of balance.
  • Manufacturing control, encompassing thin film, circuit card assembly, hybrid circuit assembly, CNC machining, high-level integration, testing, and shipping.
  • Supporting, training, mentoring, and coaching supervisors, team leaders, and shop floor personnel in best-in-class manufacturing practices.
  • Implementing best-in-class manufacturing management principles, processes, and tools.
  • Establishing and implementing tools to measure yield, manufacturing personnel, and equipment efficiency.
  • Constantly assessing and improving our production management approach, manufacturing controls, and processes to ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction and employee well-being.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 5 years of direct space, aerospace, or other high-reliability electronic equipment production management experience, with responsibility for > $30M in annual shipments.
  • Hands-on management style.
  • Strong data analytics skills.
  • Strong commitment to workplace diversity, professional ethics, and fair treatment of both employees and customers.
  • Hands-on experience in applying lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Able to lead, direct, and coach and be a hands-on participant of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to accept Canadian Government security screening with a high probability of success.
