Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Psychologist Leader to join our team at the York Catholic District School Board. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight of our psychological services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of psychologists and support staff
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to psychological services
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Provide expert advice and consultation to staff and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Ph.D. or Doctorate in Psychology and registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • 7-10 years of experience in school board and clinical settings with children and adolescents
  • Leadership experience and ability to effectively manage and mentor staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of provincial legislation and standards for registered psychologists
