Lifemark Health Group is a leading provider of community healthcare, workplace health, and wellness services. We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative mental health programs.
About the RoleAs a Psychologist with Lifemark Health Group, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse client groups, including Canadian Veterans and employees in organizations focused on workplace health. You will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing evidence-based treatments, and developing and evaluating mental health programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new mental health program content for various client groups
- Leverage novel approaches to the delivery of mental health services, including adjunct digital therapeutics
- Bring your unique assessment competencies to a range of applications, from pre-employment suitability assessments to diagnostic assessments
- Deliver individual and group treatment for conditions including anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment, and interpersonal issues
- Consult with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions
- Contribute to program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial College/Board of Psychologists (competency with adult populations; clinical)
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
- Conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning
- Providing various evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
- Developing and evaluating mental health programs
- Working in interdisciplinary teams and with third-party payers
- Utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods
