About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team at Pilkington Law Firm. As a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with research, document preparation, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Document Preparation: Conduct thorough research on various legal topics, draft legal correspondence, and prepare court documents.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to our legal team, including maintaining records, managing files, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Communication: Develop excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned office environment.
  • Work Setting: Legal firm.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Windows.
  • Transportation: Own transportation or access to public transportation.
