Job Title: Law Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team at Pilkington Law Firm. As a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers in their daily tasks and contribute to the success of our firm.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and gather information from various sources, including court files and legal documents.
  • Draft and prepare legal correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Assist lawyers with case preparation, including organizing and maintaining files, and coordinating with clients.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining the office.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and other databases to track case information and client data.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as law or business.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal or administrative role.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:

Our office is located in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.

The primary language of work is English.
