Brandt is seeking a highly skilled Office Administrator to join our team in Nanaimo. As a key member of our Construction & Forestry location, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide exceptional administrative support to our team, including general office duties, switchboard operation, and typing.
  2. Utilize Microsoft Office skills to maintain accurate records and files.
  3. Assist the Service department with Service Writer duties, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of administrative work methods, procedures, and operations.
  5. Possess a strong understanding of mechanical/technical terms and be able to communicate effectively with the team.
  6. Demonstrate proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and be able to adapt to new software and systems.
  7. Work collaboratively as a team player, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements:
  • Two-year Diploma or University Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of office administration experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong business English skills for creating correspondence, presentations, and reports.
