Office Administrator Job Description

Brandt is seeking a highly skilled Office Administrator to join our team in Nanaimo. As a key member of our Construction & Forestry location, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including general office duties, switchboard operations, and typing and filing.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office skills to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Assist the Service department with Service Writer duties, requiring strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of administrative work methods, procedures, and operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and objectives, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong business English skills for creating correspondence, presentations, documents, and reports.

Requirements:

  • Two-year Diploma or University Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of office administration experience.
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong team player with good intuition and prioritization skills.
