Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team at IWK Health in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiological procedures for medical diagnosis, ensuring the highest quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with variable shift lengths and rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care, utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot equipment and ensure diagnostic accuracy.

Your Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiological Technology required.
  • Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the last 12 months or successful completion of a BLS Renewal Challenge Certificate required.
  • Paediatric imaging experience an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent technical decisions and work as part of an interdisciplinary team required.
