About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Partnership Developer to join our team at CSA Group. In this role, you will play a vital part in growing and strengthening academic engagement within our Research and Education programs.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with research facilities, academic institutions, and faculty members. You will grow the academic teaching and research network, integrate standards literacy and training into the academic curriculum, and integrate standards into large, collaborative research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow academic engagement and strengthen partnerships with research facilities, academic institutions, and faculty members.
  • Identify current research and training needs as well as emerging trends and technologies, and build meaningful academic collaborations.
  • Perform outreach at multiple levels of colleges and universities, enhancing the awareness and reputation of our Research and Education programs.
  • Manage and support the development, launch, maintenance, and promotion of standards literacy modules and promote the standards research scholarship program.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a graduate degree, preferably a Ph.D., and at least 5 years of relevant experience in an academic research environment. You will also have experience in conducting joint projects with academic or private partners and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

You will be able to prepare clear concise reports, correspondence, and submissions, and have in-depth knowledge and understanding of funding and research opportunities. Additionally, you will have expertise in the preparation of complex applications and proposals and ability to self-manage, influence others without direct reporting authority, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The estimated salary for this role is between $85,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
