Accounting Specialist

Quantam Software Application Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software, including Tally ERP, MS Excel, and Quick Books
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
