About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at RF ACCOUNTING AND TAX SERVICES. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.
