About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at SRT Accounting Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights for business decisions.
  • Post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Dependability, reliability, and organizational skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
