Strategic Director for Global Transaction Banking

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Brand Partnerships. This role will play a critical part in driving the success of our Global Transaction Banking (GTB) division, which is the payments and transaction engine of Scotiabank.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the overall success of GTB across Scotiabank's markets by defining and developing transformational opportunities in GTB.
- Work closely with business lines to define and validate strategies covering GTB's Canada and global markets.
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Contribute to the definition and development of the GTB strategy and roadmap through research of global payments trends and disruptions.
- Present clear recommendations and implementation plans to ensure impactful project outcomes to senior leaders within the Bank.
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Consulting, or strategy experience within a Financial Services company.
- Strong understanding of the domestic and global transaction banking and payments landscape, and market usage across segments.
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex business concepts associated with the transaction banking domain.
- Comfort working in an agile, matrixed environment.
- General knowledge of global transaction banking trends and technologies.
- Strong technical ability with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Bilingual Preferred: Spanish and English.
