Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Next International Inc. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in construction project management and a keen eye for safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective project management.
  • Interface with clients and project stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Execute contracts to client requirements and specifications, ensuring scope, terms, and conditions are clearly understood.
  • Develop and direct project execution plans, including safety management, quality management, and cost control.
  • Manage project budgets, identify capability gaps, and provide training opportunities for Supervisors and field staff.
  • Ensure project budget is maintained and adjusted as necessary, with appropriate client and management communication and authorization.
  • Report performance to financial targets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, engineering, or technical trade certificate.
  • PMI certification or post-secondary project management training is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' management and supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience managing multi-million dollar projects.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and achieve quality standards.
  • Strong organizational skills, including effective prioritization and follow-up.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as spreadsheets, word processing, scheduling software, and project management software.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control and construction safety.
  • Strong understanding of Project Control mechanisms.
