Job Title: Clinical Informatics Analyst

Job Summary:

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of our electronic medical record (EMR) system, EpicCare. Your clinical knowledge and analytical skills will enable you to troubleshoot issues, enhance system functionality, and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of EpicCare, ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows
  • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues, improving user experience and efficiency
  • Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging your analytical skills to optimize system functionality
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively use the EMR system
  • Participate in rotational on-call, integrated system testing, and upgrades, ensuring system stability and continuity

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a clinically related field, health informatics, or computer science
  • EPIC certification in EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation or Stork, or certification within 3 months of hire
  • Superior experience with MS Office, Windows, and Visio
  • Experience working with Epic EMR, with a minimum of 2-5 years of hospital clinical and/or hospital information systems and EMR experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL certification
  • Clinical, professional designations
  • Service Now experience
