Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support and training for clinical staff on the use of the EMR system
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize system enhancements and improvements
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials
  • Participate in rotational on-call and integrated system testing
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a clinically related field; health informatics or computer science or equivalent
  • EPIC certification in EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation or Stork an asset, or certification will be required within 3 months of hire
  • Superior experience with MS Office/ Windows / Visio experience
  • Experience working with Epic EMR (required)
  • Two to five years of hospital clinical and/or hospital information systems and EMR experience (required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL certification an asset
  • Clinical, professional designations preferred
  • Service Now experience an asset
