Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our team. As an EpicCare Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the EMR system, working closely with physician leadership, nursing, and allied health groups to provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the EMR system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the EMR system, ensuring data quality and user security
  • Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to understand workflows and provide tailored support
  • Participate in rotational on-call, integrated system testing, and upgrades
  • Develop and maintain training environments and curriculums
  • Ensure clear communication between end-users, EMR, and third-party vendors

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a clinically related field
  • EPIC certification in EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation or Stork
  • Superior experience with MS Office, Windows, and Visio
  • Experience working with Epic EMR
  • Two to five years of hospital clinical and/or hospital information systems and EMR experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL certification
  • Clinical, professional designations
  • Service Now experience
