Urologist - Medical Research and Consultation

We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a Urologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of urological disorders in children.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Research: Conduct research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods, and prepare research papers for publication and presentation.
- Consultation: Act as consultants to other physicians, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Clinical Practice: Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in urology.
- Certifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
As a Urologist at SickKids, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive tasks. You must be able to distinguish between colors and have manual dexterity.
