Radiologist - Medical Research and Consultation

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a critical role in conducting medical research, consulting with other physicians, and ordering diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Research: Conduct research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods, and study the nature, cause, and development of diseases.
- Consultation: Act as a consultant to other physicians, providing expert advice and guidance on medical matters.
- Diagnostic Procedures: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities are required.
As a Radiologist at The Hospital for Sick Children, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
