About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a critical role in conducting medical research, consulting with other physicians, and ordering diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Research: Conduct research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods, and study the nature, cause, and development of diseases.
  • Consultation: Act as a consultant to other physicians, providing expert advice and guidance on medical matters.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities are required.
Work Environment
