About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for conducting medical research, consulting with other physicians, and providing expert care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
  • Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Act as consultants to other physicians
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • Membership in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
