We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent at Pomeroy Lodging LP. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service
- Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that all guest rooms are clean and well-maintained, and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Front Desk Operations
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling room assignments, key cards, and other related tasks.
- Manage guest requests, including room changes, extra amenities, and other special requests.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other front office staff to ensure seamless communication and a smooth guest experience.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role an asset.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
Working Conditions
This position requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The front desk environment can be fast-paced and dynamic, with a high volume of guest interactions and transactions.
